Description

Quick, easy and delicious – these are the best no-chill chocolate chip cookies!

Ingredients

Scale

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon almond
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Cream together the butter and sugar with a whisk or in your stand mixer with the paddle attachment, until well combined. Mix in the eggs, almond and vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking powder and salt, mixing until all ingredients are incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.

Form balls of about 2 tablespoons dough, and distribute them evenly on the cookie sheets. Dough will be a little sticky.

Bake 10-12 minutes, or until the edges just reach a light toasty brown. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, and enjoy!

Notes

These can be stored in the fridge, tightly sealed, for 1-3 days. To freeze, roll the dough into balls, and freeze for 6-8 weeks. Bake frozen cookie dough balls for an additional 1-2 minutes.
